Terms of Service

Effective date: June 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tirana Guide mobile application, API, and public website at https://devolist.com/apps/tirana-guide (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Tirana Guide provides travel and lifestyle information about Tirana, Albania — including places, events, tips, maps, travel guides, notifications, and optional booking or reservation features. Content is compiled from public sources, partners, and editorial research. It is general information only, not professional travel, legal, or safety advice.

Always verify opening hours, prices, availability, and safety conditions locally before you travel or make plans.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
  • You may sign in with email/password or supported providers (Google, Apple) via Firebase Authentication.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our API without written permission
  • Upload malware, spam, or misleading content
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls
  • Use the Service to harass venues, other users, or our team

We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.

5. Travel content disclaimer

  • Maps and coordinates are approximate. Navigation is at your own risk.
  • Venues close, move, change prices, or alter services without notice.
  • Outdoor activities (hiking, lakes, mountains) involve inherent risk — assess conditions, weather, and your fitness.
  • We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or emergency service. In an emergency in Albania, call 112.

6. Bookings, reservations, and third parties

When you submit a booking or reservation through the app:

  • You enter into a arrangement with the venue or service provider, not with Tirana Guide as the operator of that service.
  • We pass your request and contact details to the venue; confirmation, cancellation, and payment terms are set by the venue unless stated otherwise in the app.
  • We do not guarantee availability, quality, or safety of third-party services.
  • Links to external websites (maps, venue sites, eSIM partners, ads) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

7. Advertising

The app may display Google AdMob ads and sponsored listings from local businesses. Ad content is provided by third parties. Tapping an ad or sponsor card may open an external site subject to that party's terms and privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Tirana Guide name, logo, app design, editorial text, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Service content for commercial use without permission.

Venue names, trademarks, and photos may belong to third parties and are used for informational purposes.

9. User feedback

If you send suggestions or corrections, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them to improve the Service without obligation to compensate you.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Tirana Guide AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON CONTENT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tirana Guide and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in our [Account Deletion](/apps/tirana-guide/account-deletion) page.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Tirana, Albania have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at `/apps/tirana-guide/terms`. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
